Can Vitamin c Help You Get Pregnant? Yes and No

One of the things you can do to increase your odds of getting pregnant is taking
certain supplements that might positive effects on male fertility. It is important,
though what you need to the negative effects these same supplements can have also.
There is one vitamin such as, that can do a great deal to improve your conception odds, but
also has the potential to cause harm.

What is?

I'm talking about Ascorbic acid. Here's the deal.. Taking some vitamin C really is a great
idea, because vitamin C (in small doses) is going to do something wonderful maximize your
fertility. It actually improves the quantity of your cervical fluid. You may already know that
the cervical fluid is extremely important for transporting the sperm to our cervix and on on the uterus,
where it will eventually meet up with your egg.

Without some good cervical fluid, the sperm just has no chance of surviving only for
very long. If you do have very wet and abundant cervical fluid, the sperm can often
survive for up to 6 days inside a body. The longer the sperm last, the greater
your likelihood of conception.

But here's ingestion... Too much vitamin C might have the opposite effect. Sure, that's
right... too much produces your cervical fluid to dry out, and that can per ruin your
chance of ever getting pregnant. So you must be extremely Careful to avoid getting megadoses of Vitamin c (especially during cold or maybe flu season where we're often advised to problem on vitamin C).

Now, moving on to the effect vitamin C is wearing men. Vitamin C may be a powerful
anti-oxidant, which protects the DNA for the sperm. Side effects of misshapen DNA to
sperm it's risk of miscarriage or chromosomal damage to the baby.

Also, a lack of vitamin C makes semen clump together, a point called agglutination.
This battle makes conception difficult, but can be Helped with appropriate
supplements of ascorbic acid.

Additionally, taking supplemental vitamin c can improve sperm percentage, motility and
viability included in male smokers and reduces the several abnormally formed sperm. The
optimum dose for men is 500mg taken twice a day, for a total of 1000mg daily.

All on the whole, Vitamin C can try a tremendous impact on a couples capacity to conceive a
child, effecting both the male and female partners.
